This set of twenty-four printable pennant flags captures that world in full, each flag illustrated with a different creature or detail from the British woodland through the seasons, a hare in the long grass, a badger at its sett, a wren on a bramble branch, a song thrush on lichen-covered oak, a stoat at the dry stone wall, a hedgehog in the autumn leaves. The botanicals change with the season too: bluebells and lily of the valley give way to rowan berries, elderberries and penny bun mushrooms. A brass lantern glows among the ferns. An old rope swing hangs from an oak.
