Description

This set of twenty-four printable pennant flags follows that calendar in full, each flag illustrated with a different creature or botanical from the British hedgerow through the seasons, a sleeping hedgehog curled in its nest, a hedgehog family tucked together in the thicket, paired robins standing beak to beak, a blackbird among the crab apples, a wren pair on the bramble, a wood mouse with a blackberry, a dormouse among hazelnuts, a peacock butterfly on the thistle. The botanicals are as generous as the season: dog rose and honeysuckle, elderflower and elderberry, foxglove and field scabious, chanterelles and field mushrooms, hawthorn berries heavy on the branch.
